Employee Training

Employees are the Companys fundamental strength. Following the modern enterprise training philosophy, we improve the training bases/networks and performed all-staff training, with a view to cultivating knowledge-based employees and building a learning-oriented company, thereby facilitating the positive interaction between employee growth and company development.

We apply the management mechanism of "two-tier planning; three-tier training" to effectively guarantee the coverage and effectiveness of employee training. We promote the mode of "internet + training" to tap the potential of human resources. We carry out innovative, diversified and differentiated vocational trainings to effectively improve the employees qualities and abilities.

We improve employees vocational skills and professional abilities through a combination of training and contests such as vocational skills competitions. Through these measures, we promote the development of front-line employees and test the results of grassroots training. In 2020, in addition to enterprise-level vocational skills contests, the company adopted the method of "post training + skills lecture + skills competition", organized and participated in more than 50 vocational skills competitions at all levels, and more than 170,000 employees participated in such events. At company-level and above competitions, the participants won 37 gold medals, 62 silver medals and 74 bronze medals. 70 "National Technical Experts" were commended, and 5 national technical experts were recommended to the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security of the Peoples Republic of China.

We continued to promote the construction of leading scientific and technological talents and reserve talents. Currently, we have 26 petroleum scientists and 552 young scientific and technological talents. We implemented the skilled personnel development program, and successfully carried out the skills promotion program, the innovation/productivity-oriented promotion program and the "Petroleum Craftsman" training program for operational personnel.
